Making the canal visible
The picture was taken during our 2-day march (67 km) along the “Wiener Neustädter-Canal” to “Wien-Mitte” (Vienna) near an industrial area.
“Making the canal visible” was an art project in 2015. It was about understanding and overcoming limits and also experiencing team spirit and group dynamics. The aim was also to show that a "breakthrough" cannot be prescribed, but that certain conditions can facilitate or enable such a breakthrough. It is about social spaces that are not captured theoretically, but become perceptible in practice.
The results of the art projects could be seen in a vernissage.
Cellophane
“Cellophane” is a currently 20 picture series that deals with the pain of loss, the struggle of isolation and overcoming oneself. It is a personal project that started during the pandemic.
